A Conversation with Silva Martin

Dressage Explorers is excited to have Silva Martin spend some time with us following her performances on Sunday.

German-born and trained dressage rider Silva Martin is a successful competitor and sought-after trainer and coach of both dressage and event riders. She and her husband Boyd, a member of the US Eventing Team, own and operate their farm Windurra USA in Cochranville, PA.

Silver passed her Bereiters exam in Germany and was fortunate to have ridden with many noted horsemen in her career. Tall, athletic and elegant in the saddle, Silva is a tough competitor. But she is also down to earth, approachable, and relates well to people, making her a superb coach. She has a solid education in dressage training and is happy to impart her knowledge to students of any level.

Silva will talk with us about her journey in dressage, training for her and her horses, and life as a top equestrian competitor.
